You might be wondering, "Then what in tarnation is this Mon Poll affair anyway!?"

Well, information technology isn't exactly a poll. It's more than of a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random list of questions I've been putting out to readers every Mon morning for the by vii years. (It's like a kickstart for your brain.) I've always enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I promise you enjoy reading mine.

1. When your energy is low, what gives you a quick boost?
   Coffee…which I can't have correct now, and true cat naps.

   Hoh! Cat naps. And I don't actually have to be in a horizontal position to partake of a cat nap either because I'grand like Tabs in that I tin nap pretty much anywhere, any fourth dimension (once I fell asleep standing upwards on MUNI, SF'southward metro line, which is similar the crown jewel of napping).

   Even if I can just sneak in a five-minute nap, I'm correct as rain, only if a nap is out of the question, and then a brisk walk outside oft also does the flim-flam.

2. Mini wearing apparel or shrunken jacket?
   For the record, this question is difficult to answer when y'all're massively significant because either choice would look extra teeny tiny juxtaposed with le tum.

   But, uh…I guess I'd go with the mini wearing apparel, but just if it's black, stretchy and has long sleeves, considering information technology'due south cold right meow, and I'd wearable it with tights, booties and my BlankNYC fake leather jacket, which I haven't been able to zip up since September. LOL!

3. Are you wearing your hair upwardly today or down?
   Mine'southward upwardly in a messy bun because information technology'due south raining today, and when information technology'southward raining, I don't even desire to bother…
4. What's one of the most memorable makeup looks y'all've washed?
   I always call up one I did with the MAC Maleficent collection. I was actually out of my comfort zone because of all the highlighting and contouring and the cutting pucker and the brows for days.
5. Practice you wear makeup daily?
   Nope, not really, but I used to! Heck, I'd put on concealer just to go go the mail, but now I'thou cool going bare faced to run errands or get for a walk or, yes, even become the post. 🙂

   Don't get me wrong, I still dear, love, Beloved wearing makeup, and I wearable it at least five or six days a week…just sometimes I think it's likewise nice to not have to fuss with it.

I was just almost to type, "This is the get-go Monday Poll of the New Year, and then you better become up in the mix!" when I felt something sticking to my lipgloss, and and so I looked downward at my white tee and realized that Tabs, who was hardcore loving on me (he says howdy, BTW), left a half a pound of true cat pilus in his wake…

I guess that'south one thing that hasn't changed in 2016! I'm still sitting hither in front of my computer with a shag carpet of cat hair on me, haha!

I'k in a bang-up mood today, my friend, and I hope you are, too, but if you're dragging — and I tin can totally understand that, seeing as how it's the first Monday dorsum later on the holidays — here'south a dose of adept free energy to help y'all get through your forenoon…
